I’m a machine learning engineer based in Prague, interested in deep learning, probabilistic modeling and understanding how modern models work. I studied Artificial Intelligence at FIT CTU and currently work at Livesport, where I’ve gained experience with production data and ML systems.

What I’m focusing on
I’m increasingly focused on deep learning, model development and rigorous experimentation. I’m especially interested in understanding models beyond high-level APIs — how they are trained, evaluated, where they fail and what makes them improve.
Technical interests
Deep learning
Neural architectures, representation learning and understanding modern models from first principles.
Model development & experimentation
Training, evaluation, controlled experiments and ablations aimed at understanding model behavior rather than treating models as black boxes.
Probabilistic machine learning
Uncertainty, calibration and evaluating models based on decision quality, not just headline accuracy metrics.
Direction
Long term, I want to move deeper into research-oriented machine learning engineering: building models, reproducing ideas from papers, running careful experiments and working on technically difficult ML problems.
